I bought it for my nephew and he really likes it. He does get a little frustrated with the magnet on the helicopter because it doesn’t always let go of the car properly and the car falls off the track but otherwise it’s great.

At first, my 3 yr old grandson got frustrated with some of the mechanisms; the turn knob for climbing the hill would get stuck and the magnet action was tricky, had to get just the right touch. But once he got the hang of it, he would work it for awhile, go to something else, and the repeatedly come back to it. Good educational toy for learning color matching, small finger manipulation, dexterity and control.

So my son just got this yesterday and he has loved it even more than his nickelodeon and Disney toys! The only reason I gave it 4 is because the turn know is really difficult even for me but still lots of fun!

This is a cute but very small set. I would not recommend it for 3-year-olds simply because the vehicles are tiny enough to place in the mouth. Likewise, if you have a child who leaves toys out and you also have pets in the house, the vehicles can easily be swallowed.
