Remember, folks: these are newly-manufactured reproductions of a toy that was first designed and sold in the 1950βs. Itβs also a toy version of a weapon system (M42 Duster) that was in service from the mid-40βs to the mid-60βs. Toys from this era were designed to be durable and inexpensive. They didnβt move on their own, light up, or make noise. They are what they are. That said, these are quality versions. These are well-cast in sturdy plastic with sharp detail and little or no flash or sprue from the molding process. The wheels roll freely. The turret turns easily and the guns elevate. That said, the original design skimped on detail below the top edge of the hull. I will probably relocate the turrets to the chassis of a newly-made M48 Patton or similar knockoff (see picture) without feeling guilty about modifying or destroying a collectible toy from someoneβs childhood.

This was a gift for my grandson. He loves military history, especially WWI and WWII. He loved that there were 2 colors so he could use the green army as the “good” guys and the tan army as the “bad” guys. He was very happy with the product and spends hours setting up his battle scenes. We have the battle “terrain” all over the house. He was happy to have tanks and not just army men. These have helped him to stretch his imagination a little further.

The grandsons, ages 2 and 6, love playing with these tanks along with their Army men. Our granddaughter, age 4, was delighted with the pink tanks so she could join in a battle with her brothers. They are durable enough for rough play in a sand pile. They come with USA and star stickers for the kids to put on.And this company has great customer service! I had a question on one item, spoke to a real human being, and received an email with an answer to the question within 15 minutes. I will be making more purchases from VictoryBuy in the future.

These look like what you would buy at the dollar store so Iβm a little puzzled by the cost. My son wanted to use his own money to buy them and it pained me to watch him spend such hard earned money on such cheap breakable plastic but heβs very happy with them. Honestly I would have never paid more that $5 for this… there arenβt even real looking wheels on the tank and the guns on top are extremely flimsy. Not sure how this company feels good about asking this much for that product.

Not made to last, but I hope the thrill of war toys does not last that long, so thatβs ok.The 4 year old loves them.Overpriced for what they are.

For almost $15 my expectations werenβt sky high but I did expect a few notches up from dollar store βjunkβ quality. Honestly if I hadnβt watched him take them out of the Amazon box and open the bag I would have assumed they were from the dollar store and thrown them out next time I cleaned up as I often do with those toys. I canβt imagine they will last long or get much play time. The army men from this brand are a total upgrade to many other brands so had hoped for a similar experience with the tanks. Iβd skip this purchase.
